Well, we played tonight and unless I missed something major (quite possible) NetRunner seems to be nothing more than a very good two player game onto which collectible status has been thrust. It has some nice mechanisms, not unlike Moonie's systems with many things to do, but rather lacking in flavour and depth.

Which is really odd, since lots of people are raving manfully. Well, there you go - it won't be the first time. Which is a shame, because I really wanted to like it.

Cards are nice though.

We'll play again, because it's okay, and I'll let you know if I find another entire level. Let me know what you think, if you play it.

Mike

Interesting news. Jennifer Schlickbernd was raving about NetRunner at the Gathering and has promised us a review. Perhaps The Cabinet will host competing views about yet another WotC product!
